Top 10 Best Free PC Games of 2012

This top 10 best free pc games of 2012 is a follow up to my previous posts, that is top 10 free flash games of 2011 and top 10 best free mmorpg of 2011, only this time, it's not flash game and it's not a mmorpg, this list mostly filled with free games that are so popular to the ones that are made by fans or independent game developers. It's a very balanced list too, because i went from nothing to making this list from the inspiration of all the netizen's comments on lots of "best free games"' articles. I also include honorable mentions list on the bottom of this article because there are too much quality free pc games out there, i mean it, it's really too much.

We will play this one, why? one reason only: Valve. You can team up with three friends to survive in a deep-space alien infestation. When you're done, expect mods to be ready.

Tons of weapons, a great story line with multiple endings(good and bad),lots of levels,new environments, engaging gameplay, diverse boss fights and everything just packed into a minute file! Its just WOW!! 

Beneath A Steel Sky

Beneath a Steel Sky was a pretty spiffy cyberpunk point-and-click adventure set in a dystopian future Australia, featuring comic art by Dave Gibbons and some pretty good voice acting for the time. Also, it featured a protagonist named after a beer can and an AI sidekick who could be installed in different robot bodies through the course of the adventure. Although it was never a huge seller, the game garnered universal critical acclaim when it came out. Its re-release as freeware has finally won it some delayed, but much deserved attention.

Little Fighter 2

Little Fighter 2 offers some of the best 2D fighting action around. Basic controls are easy enough for anyone to figure out and special moves will give you a fighting advantage once you learn the combos. The few minor problems pale in comparison to the rest of this great game. If you like any kind of fighting game, or are even remotely interested, this is a great, free game to download.

Top 10 Free Flash Games 2011

Before anything happens let's not forget these 10 free flash games, because in just about 60 days, the year 2011 will end, and the one thing we cannot do anything about regarding to time is that it'll never came back, time goes by, it never stop ticking, so this maybe a little off topic, but i just wanna say this "get up now you lazy people, start your first step and chase your dream, time doesn't wait for you no matter what".

The Bloons series is another series of games that has shot into the internet gaming limelight at a fast rate, with players looking to burst balloons of the same colour in order to gain points. The game has progressed with each new release that is added to the series and so has quickly become a favourite with players.

Knight Age

Knight Age is a brilliant time waster, it's short but really worth our time. If you’re ever stuck in a boring class or nodding off at the office you should definitely give this game a shot!

Monster Island, a rather simple game but packs almost all aspect that is needed to become one of the most played games @ miniclip, give it a go and you'll know why.

Coma

Everything about this game is awesome, the surreal elements really make me feel like this is some strange dream. The music is amazing. I really liked being in Rewind Fields, it was very calming. I'm not sure I understand the end though. I'm guessing this is all meant to be interpreted. In any case it is really a fantastic game, just give it a try and you wont regret.

Fighter Pilot 2

I was thinking there must be at least one good flying action platform game in this list, so i bum into this one game, called Fighter Pilot 2, and it turns out to be the ones that i needn't to have think about forcing myself to add this genre previously, because eventually i'll put it sooner or later because of it's popularity.

Bio Gems

Bio Gems is something like a Hollywood film remake-a rehash of old parts we’re familiar with put together in a new way. Done wrong this can be obnoxious and boring, but when it’s done well it can be better than those original parts and Bio Gems does what it does very well. Overall, excellent cartoon-style graphics, cool techno soundtrack and a great new flash game.

Kingdom Rush

Kingdom rush is not an ordinary "tower defence" games, it packs incredible features 4 Basic tower types, including Archers, Mages, Barracks and Artillery. Also

This game is a funny topdown 8 ball simulator game where you have to play against a smart computer opponent. The objective is to aim and power the white ball, so you can pot balls of your own color, before the computer managed to pot his balls. The fact that a game based on the game of 8 ball pool becoming an online gaming favourite and one of the list of the top 5 most addictive games is no surprise to anyboby.

Crazy Penguin Catapult

This list is probably the hardest to make for me so far, because there's a lot of good quality free flash games out there, but hopefully atleast this 10 free flash games 2011 will worth your time ^_^
