NBA: Memphis Grizzlies sign Jerryd Bayless

In what could be the most 'sneaky good' signing of this off-season so far, according the ESPN's Marc Stein, the Memphis Grizzlies signed Jerryd Bayless.

Memphis hopes that he will fill the void left by the all-but-certain departure of O.J. Mayo. He will be in line to backup starting point guard Mike Conley.

Bayless, 23, has already bounced around the league and has yet to live up to his potential. He was a lottery pick coming out of the University of Arizona. He has not averaged more than 22.7 minutes per game in his career.

He is coming off his best season as a pro by averaging 11.4 points per game and shooting 42.3% from behind the arc. He played the 2011-12 season with the Toronto Raptors.

The terms of his deal are yet to be disclosed, we will update when they are announced.

Indiana Pacers: 2012 Summer League Roster

The NBA Summer League season is underway in Orlando, Florida and Las Vegas, Nevada. The Indiana Pacers summer league squad will be playing in Orlando.

The Pacers have a few holes they need to fill for the 2012-13 season, but hope to acquire those players via free agency. If they miss out on signing Courtney Lee, Elton Brand, or another player they have targeted, they could turn to a player on their summer league squad.

Miles Plumlee, Indiana's 2012 first-round pick, has already made a (negative) first impression on former Indiana University basketball coach Dan Dakich. After watching Plumlee play in person, Dakich simply said, "He can't play."

Who else is on the Indiana Pacers summer league team? The rest of the roster is after the jump...

Top 10 YouTube Videos of NBA Flops

Flopping is a hot button issue in today's NBA. Indiana Pacers coach Frank Vogel was fined 15k for saying that the Miami Heat were the biggest flopping team in the league. David Stern was interviewed during Game 1 on the Pacers/Heat series and said that it needs to stop. Flopping was never an issue until Vlade Divac perfected the art of flopping in the late 1990s. It was frowned upon then, but over the years, it is now an accepted practice by most players. The best players in the league (Lebron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Paul) all do it and I decided to give you some proof.

Here are the Top 10 best YouTube videos of NBA flops.

(Fake) NBA Player "Walk-Up" Songs

I was watching the L.A. Lakers vs. Denver Nuggets playoff game last night. At the end of the game, just like any other basketball game, there were a lot of free throws. After a player is fouled, there is a minute lull in-between the foul and the free throw attempt. What if each individual NBA player had their own personal "walk-up song," like in baseball? I tweeted this out and many agreed that this needs to happen. I instantly started to think of either humorous or fitting walk-up songs for random NBA players. You have to follow basketball pretty close to get all of the references. Most of the walk-up song references are very easy to get, but a few of them are a bit obscure.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment or email me. Enjoy!
